Going Greasy

The further escalation of oil prices has already driven a lot of people mad--and driven a lot of people into thinking or rethinking ways on how to save as much oil as possible. One idea that is thought of was actually an idea of the past that dies a natural death and is now being revived. I am talking about ordinary grease.

New Technology to Trap Grease in Pipes

Good news: Fry-o-Diesel has already developed technology that will trap grease found in sewages and reuse it as biofuel.

This technology, if you will really think about it, will save governments millions of dollars every year as it prevents grease from forming in and blocking pipes. It also saves a lot of time that is otherwise used in declogging pipes.

Grease is still Gas

In the 80's, this movement was in action: using daily grease to run your cars. I believe this largely happened because of the rising costs of crude oil. Now that oil is rising so high once again, the movement to use your daily grease output is back once again. Will it prosper this time, or will it just vanish once more?
