US pulp maker develops new biofuel technology

A company has to reinvent itself and find opportunities in other industries if it has to in order to survive any crisis.

The following pulp mill in Maine is one of those companies that are smart enough to do so. It is currently developing technology to produce bio-butanol, a jet fuel, from the parts of trees that may otherwise go to waste. This a first of its kind and may go a long way in the search for a viable alternative source of energy.
