Joule Biotechnologies reveals process that they say can make 20,000 gallons of biofuel per acre per year. The technology involves growing genetically engineered microorganisms in a specially designed photobioreactors, where the microorganisms use sun's energy and convert water and carbon dioxide into ethanol or hydrocarbon fuels (such as diesel or components of gasoline).Read more: Biofuel to replace fossil fuels? Sharks that are toxic to human beings and that are pestering to fishermen reside in off of the shores of Greenland. This Greenland shark is apparently one of the largest species of shark that there is in the world today. Researchers are trying to find new ways to use the flesh of the beast in order to create a biofuel for Inuits.
