Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture together with the Chesapeake Bay Commission said on a report that planting biofuels that could be grown in the Chesapeake Bay watershed could produce 500 million gallons of fuel (enough supply of Washington metro area for 6 weeks) and create about 18,000 jobs.
Penn State Institutes of Energy and the Environment director Tom Richard states that plant biofuel producing plants and trees could also have good effects in the environment.
