Methane from cows produce electricity

By Website Introductions at 08/28/08 23:09

Great things come from a little ingenuity. Instead of blaming something for your misfortunes, it might be actually better to utilize them for your benefits, instead.

This is what they do now in some Minnesotan farms. Here, farmers utilize the methane gas coming from the cows to create electricity for the local community.

Gases coming from cattle (cow farts) are partly blamed for the world's global greenhouse gas output. If these gases can be utilized, we're actually using a once-obstacle to our benefit.
